Bampton Town Trail A leisurely walk around Bampton itself will give you a good idea of the history of Bampton, the best way is to follow the 'Bampton Town Trail'. This is a walk which takes you around the town, and introduces you to historic sites and buildings. Along the way you will also be able to enjoy 'Bampton in Bloom'. Available in BHVC. |

Bampton FAMILY Town Trail You can collect an 8-page booklet from the Heritage & Visitor Centre which will allow your family to go around the Town Trail for yourselves - and to complete a quiz at the same time. Alternatively you can download and print off the booklet for yourself here.

‘Bampton Bounds’ is a new book of 10 walks from 3 to 10 miles in length published by the Bampton Heritage and Visitor Centre. There is an eleventh Challenge Walk for both walkers and runners which takes a route built up from components of the other walks. The books are available to purchase for £5 from BHVC, Bampton Game, or Bridge House. We can send by post (Bampton Bounds £5 plus £1.90 P&P with payment by Paypal).
